Literally just finding the time to write this post letting you know we are definitely opening on Saturday 4th July. I cannot believe how one speech reassures our existing bookings but spurs so many people to phone and book to come and stay.
Obviously there is quite a lot to do but we have been working through out and I feel we are all ready to welcome everyone back. Our bar till screens and reception screen are coming this week. We have divider screens for comfort for some areas. We really want to be able to give you the assurance we are ready to be back open. There is certain measures we are putting in place so please respect and follow the measures.
We will be serving our takeaway menu until Friday 3rd then dubbed “Boris’ Super Saturday 4th July” we will be reverting back to our normal menus and normal hours. However, we know people will still want Food & Drink to takeaway so we will be continuing to offer this service as well.
I am sure you can understand we are going to get busy so we will try to get everyone served as quick as possible but as safe as possible. Inside will be table service we have different size tables to try and suit everyone’s social bubbles but please remember to respect social distancing. Outside and takeaway service will be operated from the bar area. With social distancing rules applying to these areas.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all that have supported us during this stage, everyone who has booked to stay and those who are going to come just for The Vic we all love. But my biggest thanks does go to all the staff when this has been an uncertain time who I am sure cannot wait to get back just in time for the summer!
Last thing if you do have symptoms, don’t come, as I couldn’t bare to go through a whole load of drama for a pint follow government guidelines please!
Stay Alert > Enjoy Northumberland > Don’t put us in another Lockdown
See you all soon
